Bromelain (2000 GDU pineapple enzyme)

Cellase

Patented enzyme system (containing alpha-galactosidase) that helps to alleviate occasional symptoms of flatulence (gas) due to indigestible sugars found in certain foods. Foods such as beans, broccoli, cauliflower, lentils and soy-based products, contain complex sugars which cannot be digested by the body, often causing flatulence. Pancreatin (vegetable source)

Research shows a mixture of enzymes (proteases, amylases and lipases) for optimal digestion of protein, carbohydrate and fat.

Lactase

L. Sporogenes (In a base of FOS)

Research shows that the spore-forming, lactic acid-producing bacteria (friendly flora) that play an important role in promoting intestinal health. Poor intestinal health can cause gastrointestinal discomfort. The spore coat of Lactobacillus Sporogenes naturally microencapsulates the bacteria, making it resistant to heat, gastric acids and bile. It retains viability over a longer shelf-life than other probiotic organisms and does not require refrigeration. FOS (Fructooligosaccarides) is short-chain carbohydrate compounds which naturally occur in foods (bananas, tomatoes, onions and artichokes) we eat, but are indigestible in the human gastrointestinal tract. Fructooligosaccarides are beneficial to health as they are metabolized by friendly flora (i.e. serve as food for friendly bacteria) and cannot be utilized by pathogenic organisms such as Clostridium and E. coli.
